fitlizzy.com and Fit Lizzy, LLC Coaching Programs
This Privacy Policy explains how Fit Lizzy, LLC (“Lizette Ortiz,” “Fit Lizzy,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information in connection with fitlizzy.com and our coaching Programs. It applies to prospective clients, enrolled clients, and website visitors.
1. Information We Collect
- Contact information: name, email, phone number, and (where provided) mailing address.
- Health-related information: information submitted on our Liability Waiver & Health History (PAR-Q) Intake Form, including medical conditions, medications, injuries, and physician information, and information shared during coaching sessions.
- Program and progress information: workout logs, habit tracking, food/habit logs, and coaching notes.
- Payment information: processed directly by Square, our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Communications: messages exchanged through approved communication channels (email, text/voice support, private group channel).
- Website usage information: information collected through fitlizzy.com, such as pages visited and, if enabled, analytics or advertising cookies.
2. How We Use Information
- To deliver and personalize coaching services, including designing safe and appropriate programming.
- To process enrollment and payment.
- To communicate with you about your Program, scheduling, and administrative matters.
- With your separate opt-in consent, to feature testimonials, progress stories, or photos/videos in marketing.
- To maintain business records and comply with legal obligations.
3. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Square, Inc., a third-party payment processor. Square’s handling of your payment data is governed by Square’s own privacy policy and terms. We receive confirmation of payment and limited transaction details from Square but do not receive or store full card numbers.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only: with service providers who need it to operate the business (for example, Square for payment processing); with your consent (for example, marketing use of a testimonial); to protect health or safety in an emergency; or where required by law, subpoena, or court order.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate for a small business to protect client information, including limiting access to information to those who need it to deliver services. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain client records, including intake and health information, for the duration of the client relationship and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for business, insurance, and legal record-keeping purposes.
7. Your Rights
Texas residents may have certain rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) and other applicable law with respect to their personal data, which may include the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of the sale of personal data or its use for targeted advertising. 8. California Residents and International Visitors
Fit Lizzy, LLC is a small Texas business. Based on our current size and operations, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) do not currently apply to us: we do not meet the CCPA’s revenue, data-volume, or revenue-source thresholds, and we do not direct our Programs or marketing specifically to the European Union or United Kingdom. We do not sell personal information.
If you are visiting from California, another U.S. state with its own privacy law, or from outside the United States, you may still contact us at lizette@fitlizzy.com with any question or request about your personal information, and we will respond in good faith. If our business grows or changes in a way that brings us within the scope of the CCPA, GDPR, or another privacy law, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
9. Children’s Privacy
Fit Lizzy’s Programs are offered to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
10. Cookies and Website Analytics
fitlizzy.com may use cookies or similar technologies to operate the site and, where enabled, to understand site usage or support advertising.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
